The Noldor was originally a group of Elves inspired by J.R.R Tolkien and shown a minor appearance at Peter Jackson's movie, the Fellowship of the Ring. Your first stage is best to if you pick 'A retired adventurer', you can pick Knight as well, but that will strain relations with Sarleon which will come important later on.
